Responsible for non-medical, in-home support services which provide for the comfort, safety, and general supervision of our seniors and disabled clients.
Assist clients with ADL care, which includes bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and transferring.
Prepare meals following client’s prescribed dietary restrictions and the Balanced Care Method.
Change bed linens, wash and iron laundry, and clean clients’ homes (no more than 20% of time).
Conduct basic errands, such as grocery shopping.
Provide companionship to clients in a caring manner.
Incorporate aspects of the Balanced Care Method into your clients’ care (e.g., go for a walk, visit the local senior center, play a board game).
Provide transportation services.
Maintain a detailed record of services provided and clients’ current conditions
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.- May require a certification or license upon state law requirements.
Must demonstrate satisfactory completions of any stated mandated training.
Applicant must be bondable and meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, Professional and Personal Reference Checks, and give permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
Must have reliable transportation and fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality.
Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
